Not Such a Perfect Family After All

A drunken boy screams
With so much pain and hurt
All he can do is cry aloud
And tear his worn out shirt

His mother and older sister
Comfort him like a child
It reminds them of when he was young
All the times that he had smiled

Such a silent person
He had always been
Who knew he had so much stress
Compiled inside of him?

He wanted so bad his father
To love him and show it to
As his dad walked up the stairs
His door the son punched right through

Tears streamed down everyone's face
The kids and their parents old
Emotions were revealed that one night
That had never even been told

Sister, brother, and sister
All snugged so close to eachother
Finally resting in one single bed
Later peeks in their mother

A family with its problems
Though so many did not believe
All of this did happen
Unfortunately on Christmas Eve
