Do you remember?

To think, I thought you were the one,
And that we would be together forever.
You opened my eyes when you said you had lied,
Because you had never loved me, not ever.

But wasn't it fun, though,
When you thought you cared for me?
And do you remember
When you said we were meant to be?
Oh, how about that time when
We made love all through the night?
It was your first time, and we cried.
Do you remember?

We were too young, that?s what you said,
To have a love so strong,
And then, you said that I wasn't good enough,
That you were going to move on, and that was wrong.

But wasn't it fun, though,
Those long walks holding hands?
And do you remember
When you asked me to teach you to dance?
And how about that time when
We made love under the stars?
You told me how beautiful I was.
Do you remember?

Didn't you have fun?
Was it good for you
To love and run?
The joy, the love,
My cries, your lies...
Do you remember?
