Once upon a time,
in a land not so far.
The was a boy and girl,
who wished upon a star.
The very same star,
the very same wish.
Through so far apart,
they wished the same wish.
They wished for some one,
to hold their hand,
to be with forever,
to help them stand.
To light their way,
when it grew dark.
To take their hand,
and take their heart.
The boy and girl,
had yet to know,
that it was each other,
they longed for so.
They may have passed
on the street,
passed a grin,
but never did speak.
Would the lovers meet?
Would they get that far?
Or will they keep wishing,
on their star?
