I love my Mom,
I have no Dad,
I sit and wait,
For a sense of glad,
When it comes,
I'll grasp it tight,
Hold it steady,
Let in the light,
That shines above me,
Take it in,
Set me free,
But I love my mom,
I have no dad,
I sit and wait,
To set out this anger,
That's tagging along,
Gets a little stranger,
Each minute I wait,
Holding everything in,
Sitting like bait,
Can't go farther,
It's keeping me here,
Making it harder,
For me to break free,
From this never ending minute,
I have not found my key,
To true happiness,
It's lost somewhere.
Just longing for my eternal bliss.
