a small little child
alone in her room
inside her head
all these terrible thoughts swoon

What if there was a way to disappear?
to go somewhere far, far
away from here
far enough where you cant reach this place with a car

the dark underworld
with peering red lights
where you sit and wreck havoc
and start so many fights

where bad little boys and little girls go
when they are not "loved"
far away from their families, loved ones and snow
emotional children get pushed and shoved

slowly she raises her feeble head
and walks into her parents room
and umps into their bed
suddenly frightening thoughts start to swoon

daybreak is coming
and all terrible thoughts perish
she looks up and sees that her mommy is humming
with one final glance. this is something to cherish
