she lays her head down to drown out the screams
if only he knew what damaged he caused to her selfestem
if some one would realize what pain is in her heart
if only someone cared to know what tears her apart

she lays the knife down as she climbs into bed
tonight she knows she's better off dead
one more cut is all she needs
one more once more to bleed
she closes her eyes to get away

soon enough she's lying on the floor

tears stream down stained face
shes already given up the chace
