Its only been a summer
She doesn’t know him anymore
He wasn’t been the same person
As he was before

He said the wrong stuff
Pretend like it was nothing
Well she did the same
Only she was hurting

She now thinks of him
As any other guy
And asks herself

She doesn’t want to talk to him
She has no one to rely
It really breaks her heart
All she does is cry

This boy was her best friend
I guess he is no longer
The pain inside of her
Is just getting stronger

Nothing to fill
Her empty heart
Since their friendship
Grew apart

It was so much easier
Before those 90 days
She could rely on him
And everything would be ok

Now that he’s different
She still doesn’t know
What made him change
A summer ago
