Vote or Die
They yelled it
They posted it
They advertised it

I voted on that day
But I died still the same
Nothing has changed
Everything remains the same

A brighter tomorrow was promised
Just with a simple pull of a leaver
It was said to be a gift
This right to vote

Well where is the receipt
Cause this isn’t what I wanted
But from the looks of it there is a
“No exchange”
“No refunds”
“No exceptions” type of deal

MTV said to “Rock the VOTE”
More like VOTE ROCKED ME
And I have still yet to recover

We are voting for the lesser evil
One Devil for a Demon
Depends which end of the stick you holding

We the people
Have a voice
A voice that is only heard in our minds
A voice that is screaming
Screaming to be herd
