Life has so many stages
We remember the past, live the present, dream the future
We all look forward to what will come next
To see how our lives turn out
And who really trully means what they say

Our lives change and we change with it
We dream different dreams
Go after differnet and everchanging goals
But no matter what ever it is
We all race to that all important finish line

We forget what is/was important to us
We worry about time and schedules
And forget to just hang and talk and dream
We lose friends that we thought would always be there
Just because we forgot to stop and say hi

We don't take the time to indulge in what matters
We lose concintration on what we really care about
Our lives become the all-important latter climb
We walk over our memories on our way to success
When what we really succeeded at was losing the most important aspects of
life

Before you embark on the journey of your life
Just remember that I love you
And will always be here for you no matter what happens
forever and always
I'll always be your friend
