Today
Not wanting to think about tomorrow
It hurts too much to sleep, to breathe, to live
A stabbing pain I feel when I get something I want
Sitting outside wondering why the tears won't fall
Hiding all pain with a simple smile
Fools everyone
Wanting love but not wanting to let people in
No one can see the pain and hurt
Except maybe that one person
Wishing it was pain from friends or family
Only wanting basketball
They can't take much more from me
I won't let them
