I have a fear,
Not for my family or I,
For children that must lie,
About bruises,
About bumps,
What kind of person could harm such innocent beings?
Some children even resort to fleeing,
We all no what goes on in our world,
Why dont we help or tell someone?
Are we scared for ourselves more than the bruised and battered children?
Maybe no one can answer that,
But there will be an end to it all,
There must be, even if we start with one lone child,
Just pick up the phone and make a call...
