Broken Record

The agonizing carrying on of their hearts,
You just know it won't last.
You can just tell things aren't meant to be,
When all you can feel is that pain so deep.

It's buried so deep inside you,
that it can't seem to escape.
There's no way to let it out,
and you can't run away.

The last thing you can recall,
is a memory in which you try to deny.
"Don't do this to me," you said.
It didn't matter. Nothing matters anymore.

You've fallen apart,
He was your addiction, correction, STILL IS.
You can't move on.
And that memory...

That memory...it keeps playing over and over again in your head.
It's like a broken record,
and you can't seem to get your life past that point.
It's stuck in that memory, that time.

The record symbolizes your life,
it's scratched, and can't move forward.
You're stuck in one spot, no longer beautiful.
And with the carelessness of someone else,
you can easily be shattered to peices.
