Changed

The first time I met you, you were a mess
Covered with distress
Didn’t care where your life was going
Popping pills and weed every morning
Covered with deception
Always had a bad impression
Then something happened
Someone started caring for you because you wouldn’t
Someone told you no because you couldn’t
You began to change
It was hard for all of us
Things happened and you went back
You weren’t on the right track
You needed a push
We were always there
Even if you didn’t care
Through this time we had to be strong
Couldn’t let anything go wrong
You were so miserable
Nothing was comprehensible
Always changing your mood
Even if it was rude
We stood by you threw think and thin
Even though it was a crazy and long spin
You told me to never give up on you
So I was here for you through and through
You always told me I never new what it was like
But I didn’t care I was there through the fight
No matter how hard it was we were always there
Some days were better than others
Even though sometimes I felt like your mother
It was for the best
I never gave it a rest
But look at you now
You care about where you will end up in life
You’re not playing with it like a game of dice
You’re growing up
But not to much
You’ve changed your ways
For the better days...
