Spinning in the party chair
Music blasting in your ears
Your body whipping around in circles
The lights fly by in bands of neon
Your stomach tied in knots
Hearing you scream through the tears
People gather to see you fall
Spinning, spinning, spinning
Flailing your arms out for help
As you're gasping for breath
Faster, faster, faster
I'm running though the crowd
In this unfamiliar place
This is not a spectator sport
You see the friendly face
And it's gone in a flash
Only a blur now
A rainbow of berried hopes
The chair will not give in
Your soul is the party chairs for now
You spin faster and faster
The devil himself wants you as his prize
You are at the top of his food chain
The height of ecstasy in evil's eyes
Until you cannot go on any longer
Finally the spinning subsides
Your eyes can now adjust
The blur is now neon lines again
Your muscles are released from tension
You see me again, again, again
My arms are open
The crowd's roar grows again
And I run with my arms wide open
You slam your feet down and stop yourself
I brace for impact
As you collapse in my arms
And I carry you out of the room of mirrors
Casting sares of their own
And I stumble, but to my surprise,
It's you who lifts me back up on my feet
I was there, sure, but no one,
Not anyone could save you, but you
My arms were open, open wide
They always were
They always will be
I was there, but only you stopped
The unforgiving, devilish rape
Of the Party Chair
