Putting life to a pending shell
Granting a gift and a comfort unknown

That cry.
Our tears flow unmasked
Promise of presence through tomorrow
Unbelievable but assuringly true
That look.
Light reflects the hope it denies
The power and strength of self-control shakes
Connecting wandering minds
That prayer.
Gasping chance to save a soul
Hopes for a brighter light in the dark
A hand to hold in the storm
That wish.
Beautiful star flies high in the night
Hovering desire for the words left unsaid
Another chance at us
This heart.
Feelings of truth and love left bare
Covering a fear but bliss all the same
