My Life On Pause (Perfect Hollywood Drama)

It played out like a perfect Hollywood drama
And like all the others the Hero dies in the end

So press play and watch the surreal occasion
It all seemed so unreal, how can this happen?
The plot, the storyline was picturesque
The conflict, the villain so spiteful

You cannot Rewind,
It’s impossible to change what has happened
You cannot go back to the scene,
And chase the evils away

Fast-forward, this part I cannot watch
So much weakness, so many flaws
Are being brought out
On a character that never stood proud

Stop! How can this take place?!
Why is he hurting her?
And why can’t they see it?
She’s hidden her pain like a hungry dog with its bone

Because she’s an actress,
Her life is the set where it all takes place
She’s a broken beautiful portrait
Living proof of what he had done

Power off. Never look bad on the moment
When you learned what you never before could see
And now you will walk off from the dark room
And this movie can be hidden among the others of its kind

It’s played out like a perfect Hollywood drama
And like all the others the Hero dies in the end
