I was there when our feud began for no reason at all
Maybe cause you were scared, that your reputation would fall
And perhaps quickly replaced, just when you demanded everyone a smile,
I walked in, life grew grim, you lost hope for a while

Revenge was a thought that no sooner crossed your mind
A come-back to down me and make me seem all not too kind,
You felt you were rising to the top to win the prize,
But over time, he became mine, cause he was sick of all your lies
