You told me he was no good
A liar and a cheat,
That I should stay away from him
'Cause our morals wouldn't meet.

But now I see why you turned me against
The one I truely did adore.
Telling me, "Nicole, he does drugs,
Is that what you're looking for?"

Now I find you in the hall,
Entangled in his embrace
Acting as though you were in love
And gently caressing his face.

It makes me sick to think of how
You know exactly what he does
But how you seem to overlook it
And pretend like it never was.

So now I ask you what you asked me
Not that long ago,
Is he the one you're looking for?
If not, then let him go.
