Okay,I'm sorry, but it's not
my fault you see, cuz when I'm
sleepin I'm not me.
I know I hurt you when I called you
a name of another man,
but i can't be held
accountable for my dreams, understand?

It's not you, and I really do care,
but sometimes my other person just ain't aware, it's not my fault
when she comes out and begins thinkin.
you can't hold me accountable especially when I'm drinkin'.

I don't really think I mean to be so mean, but I have conflicting
personalitys that you fall in between.
I love you, I care but I miss him too.
It's not my fault I don't know what to do. I can't be held
accountable when I'm argueing within my own mind
because a straight answer is to hard to find.

So what I'm really sayin' is this
It's not my fault. It's hers this time,
cuz I was drinkin' and dreaming,
while argueing within my mind!
