Sail Me Away

To the horizon
Is where we flee
Sails pulled in
Sun shines on me
Running away
From the cares of the world
There we will stay
I'm as free as a bird

Take me with you
Is what I'd say
You gladly would
And for no pay
For the sound of the sea
Is such a great sight
Which you see even better
In the darkness of night

Moonlit water
Tells tails of past
The sail then jibes
And so groans the mast
Curled in a blanket
Under the stars
We will go forever
Which is not very far

Around the world
Across the sea
Take me anywhere
Just stay with me
The water splashes
Along the side
Hypnotic Waves
There's no where to hide

I take the wheel
We tack along
The winds consistant
15 knots strong
I climb out to where
The jib line mends
I let go and jump
And that is the end.
