Behind eyes blurry with tears
That slowly fall and swallow her fears
All she can do is think about you
And all those nights you put her through
Sitting in the dark, waiting for your call
That never came, she knew you didn’t care at all
All that time she wondered what she did wrong
she could only hold on for so long
So she did what she knew had to be done
she looked through the drawers and found a gun
When it gets to the point, there’s nothing to live for
Sometimes you just have to shut the door
On your dreams that never got you anywhere
And the fears that devoured you there
With no reason to wake up the next day
That night she ended it, and threw it all away
