I hate what she did to you
You could even say that I hate you
And at the same time I kind of miss
That sweet way when we would talk, how it felt like sheer bliss
But she changed you can’t you see
You aren’t the way you used to be
And all that time I wasted crying
I realize now that my heart is unbroken
And it kind of feels like I’m flying
But the question still bothers me
How did she put on the blindfold so you couldn’t see
You couldn’t see what you did to me
You didn’t care, you just left me be
But it’s all okay now, for she never loved you anyhow
Now you see where you should have been
You should have stuck with the girl for whom you had fallen
Fallen in love with for that long time
But I guess that you didn’t want to be all mine
So I aint gonna waste my time
I found someone other than you
And he treats me better than you do
So now you are the one with the pain
You want to come crawling back to me
But can’t you see
That she put a blindfold on you
And it made me hate you
Hate you and all that you do
So the next time you fall for her
You won’t know that she hasn’t changed
That you’re the one who has
You won’t see that I was the one who was there in the past
The one to love you and talk to you
But no I won’t do it anymore
I won’t open up that door
Because as I said before
I hate what she did to you
You could even say that I hate you
You’re covered with that blindfold
And it won’t be me there for you to hold
