Not So Quick

Your 'holding me close' was all a play
The gazing through eyes, who cared about lies
Nothing was gonna change my way
You knew all the time - even when we first kissed
Right at this moment, I wish you would’ve missed
Cause I don’t agree, I don’t play along
I shouldn’t of ever listened when you sang me that song
Now that I know, what I wanted to, then
I’m not so quick to want you back again
Realize that I know what I’m looking for, and I dare
Dare for what I want and deserve, because I care
Care for my worth and what I stand for
Strong is my title, always willingly accepting more
But not for what you gave me, Oh, I’ve had quite enough
I’m not phased though, you made me so more tough
You sing, ''Let’s be us again''? Oh, let’s do. . .
Let me be treated just how I used to
Let me kiss you for a minute and then let you kiss another too?
Well you’re wrong, screw the song,
I don’t play- I’m through
