I’m Sorry Mama

I’m sorry Mama for all the stupid things I’ve done. Sometimes I wish instead
of me you had a son.

I feel I can’t please you Mom, I’m making you drowsy, like a pill that’s
strong.

I’m sorry for hurting your feelings, whenever I hurt you it sends my mind
reeling.

Mama I’m sorry, you were right, how can I be so selfish, you gave me life,
you gave me sight.

I’m sorry I took it out on you. It’s not your fault. Can we start anew?

So for the record Mama, I apologized, so now with tears in my eyes I lift my
head up to the sky.
