The heart withers breathlessly in the rain,
Drying your eyes at the sight.
Yearning to stay in your arms,
Slapping me down with your glare.
Helplessly waiting for your anger to cease,
My cries die in the rain.
The moonlit sky shines in my tearful eyes.
The breathless heart withers away,
On my knees begging second chance.
Huffed away from the cemetary,
Leaving me to my demise.
Bloody, muddy grass,
Faintly breathing on the ground.
A couple sorry's and a close of the eyes,
Wish you farewell and slowly fade away.
