Enter into the shadow
past no return
through the world
nobody will follow

The empty chamber
as the blade hits the ground
all that was lost returns
when she turns around
only once, a quick glance
a reminder of what was
a look into the past

Like behind a glass wall
darkness has shut her in
with promises of darkness
the healing will begin
tears streak her face
some how some day she knows
she'll reach a better place

Right now it's ok
what about the future?
what will it bring?
what will it hold?
the depth is strange
but secrets go untold
forever embeded in the walls
she knows it's time
and she's ready to fall

He'll be there to catch her
but he hasn't been found
hurry before she shatters
and lays broken on the ground
time hasn't done enough
only caused fear
she doesn't know who it is
staring in the mirror
pleading for help
she realizes what's looking back
i'm staring at myself
