Wher Doth the Sun Shine?

Where doth the sun shine
Its yellow glow upon the land
That makes flowers grow
And the people dance
Like mindless souls without a chance

Why doth the sun shine
Its icy rays that bite mine skin
Freezing this my heart
And sheds its tears
That stayed inside those silent years

That doth this our sun shine
For everyone but not for me
Singing to the sky
Whispers in its ear
Songs I know I'll never hear

With a patient heart
I wait for that one day to come
For my sun to shine
To wake me from death
This existence with nothing left

So where doth it shine
Its yellow warmth I cannot find
The light and beauty
I've never to know
Dreaming a place I want to go
