A stain of putrid smells
salty as the ocean is.
Booming with a silence so loud
that all are quietly deafened.

No one knows of this
little taste of death.
Breathing mellows as it
drains its beautiful liquid.

The stillness becomes unbearable
and the loudness of it too.
Death reaching with its icy
fingers laced through my bones.

The revised version I had to use for the school version.
