Dark room, where I find my serenity
It's the place I loose my identity
It's the only place where nothing matters
It's the only place where I can be just me

There I can set my mind completely free
From the dark, I have never had to flee
It's there and it always comforts my mind
But I can only stay to a certain degree

So I have to leave unfortunately
back to the cruel harsh world around me
But what else is there that I can do
But open my eyes and finally see
