Sorrow Turns About

A black bird sings a sorrow song,
In a garden full of death.
A sorrow filled with great loss.
Left all alone, the black bird sings
Without any family or friends.
Chirping about, trying to find,
A way to live this life.
A curious noise sounds about.
Wanting a friend, trying to find
Another life like him.
There she was, a beautiful blue.
Curious to tell, desperate to find
A lovely voice like his.
She chirped and she sung,
He whistled against the wind.
A thank you to the skies
To bring him a friend.
They fly around, whisper in the air.
Twirling around together in harmony.
To this very day, the birds are here.
Black and blue, together forever.
