I hate it when you call my name and I just can’t say no,
I hate it when you’re with me and I know you have to go,
I hate the way you walk with intention in your eyes,
I hate that sexy talk that I once considered lies,

I don’t like it when I forget to hug you right before you have to go,
Then it brings the guilt I hate from never letting you know,
I hate the way the storming rain reminds me of our ‘almost’ kiss,
And I hate the fact I didn’t get the chance to feel that ‘almost’ bliss,

I hate the sadness I get from the wonder, “What could’ve been”
I hate the knowledge in knowing that you can only remain a friend,
Why is it that I don’t really like when you hold someone other than me,
And also when you say you’re aloud a girlfriend
but there’s never anyone good enough for me,

I hate it when you sit so close, close enough to touch,
It’s not related to space I need, but rather, feelings related to such,
I don’t know why but I really do hate your intuition for my thoughts
I hate that you know what I’m thinking about,
and understand all the things that I’ve fought,

I naturally hate every feature on your face
that makes it hard in refusing to stare
I can’t believe the anger I feel when I really need you...
and you’re sitting right there,
I’m so angry at you for being the exact person
I’ve prayed for to come into my life,
I hate you for loving me, despite my faults, and
wanting to take me away from my strife,

I hate it when you look at me without a need to speak a phrase,
I hate every time that we’re out you end up making the journey a maze,
I hate that when you make me mad, I laugh instead of yell,
I hate the fact that when I get news, you’re the first I want to tell,
I hate how you make me so happy to the point where I could just cry,
Cause I hate that I’m realizing all of this now...when
tomorrow I’m saying goodbye.
