Not Every Perfect thing in life is a dream

The boy of her dreams
Appeared once again
With a face, smooth as silk
Eyes, safe and filled with life
His embrace, caries no goodbyes
His kisses, bring no heartbreaks
And his presence, brings millions of smiles,
To her dull colored eyes.
He comes to her every now and then.
But once her eyes see him,
They see no lies
They show her love
The fact that he cannot see, is not her fault
But once their eyes meet
She knows is all a dream
This kind of perfection
Does not come, in real life
She shared a million laughs,
When in his sight
She cried a billion tears,
Once he turned his back.
But when he saw her, that one time
With her eyes loosing their bright blue color
Her smile seaming less real, by the blink of an eye
A path drawn down her cheek
Starting at her fading eyes
She thought he realized,
That something must be wrong.
Once he asked
She watched the words coming out,
Only seeing his lips moving
As she watched his perfection
She knew he would never love her flaws.
As he asked all those questions,
She got up and ran.
Only thing left behind,
Was the blood and the blade
Once he saw it
Worry painted his face
He cared for her, though she could not see.
He went to follow after
Running threw the snow
Once he found her
He was left with no words to speak
All over hear arm,
She had carved,
“Love is an illusion,
I did love him,
But, I will end that, very soon.”
The letters all as deep as the knife would go,
For she lost her blade,
Running, from what she didn’t know.
He dropped to the floor,
Checking that she was breathing,
Checking that she has a pulse,
Once he released her heart was beating,
He picked her up,
As fragile as can be,
He ran for her life,
He ran with all he had,
He slipped and fell,
But kept her safe,
For he had a will to see her live
Once he got to the city
A hospital was to be found
Once he got there
He screamed and shouted
“This girl must be saved.”
He almost lost his life’s only love.
She was there for a few weeks,
As he spend day and night by her side,
Just to see her recover,
From a big mistake,
The night before she got out,
He left for a few hours,
And to her surprise, she woke up,
And on his arm,
“My love for her is no illusion,
My love for her is the only thing,
Keeping me alive”
She did not believe it,
She could not believe her eyes.
She fell into tears of disbelieve,
Until he spoke up,
“You are all I ever needed”
That’s when she realized… this was no dream.
