Red, blood shot eyes,
Blood spewing from every orifice,
“Crash out”, retching liquefied intestines.
Ebola.

Little bumps,
Itchy and festering.
A childhood disease.
Chicken pox.

Nose leaking mucus,
Tissues a constant companion,
Sore, tea-treated throat.
The common cold.

Constant tears,
Aching heart,
Battered mind.
Sleepless nights,
Depressed continuance,
Avoiding his gaze.
Yearning when you shouldn’t
Lusting after what is lost,
Teasing yourself with no mercy.
Heart break.
