You’re leaving me
Without a trace
Running and evading
From this treacherous place
What seems like hell
Has now come near
Horrified, I shiver
And drops the first tear
Stranded, I am one
Covered in dust and dirt
From fear that one
Would become full of hurt
Hidden in fear
My heart turns black
As I dig deep away from life
And never look back
I am locked in darkness
Soaked in dust
I’ll never find light
I’ll never find trust
In these times of age
Things suffer for me
Maybe in the end
I can be released and set free
Shocked in disbelief
Realizing that you have left
Knowing my soul
Was a part of your theft
My memories of you
Will always be there
At times of happiness
And times of despair
Nobody can say
These times are not hard
Because the battle is won
And my body is scarred
Thai is the end
Of this life of mine
Maybe I’ll come back
All in due time.
