And it’s not fair
For things to end this way,
It’s not fair
For you to be this way
To me-
When all I ever wanted
Was to be what you needed,
To be what I needed-
And now you walk away
Carrying my heart in your hands,
Carrying my heart in your frail hands,
With lies pressed to your lips
And tainted fingertips-
Leaving me here, and it’s not fair
To leave me here
With every word you said
Stuck in my head
With every caress
Burned into my flesh-
What do I do now?
Now that you’ve left me here
What do I do now?
Now that I’m all alone again
It’s not fair
For you to leave me here,
You’ve left me here
Again
