She fell to her knees on the floor.
The pain surged through her legs as the bruises began to surface.
She couldn't notice the pain...
Her heart numbed it with it's own.

Tears flooded her face.
He looked at her with no pity.
She glanced up at him-
With her redden eyes,
And dripping face...
He looked away.

She screamed with all of her power.
She went unnoticed.
He kept looking away.
Her voice vibrated back to her.
She tried to stand-
Falling again onto her back...
slipping in her puddle of tears.

She lay there.
So helpless...
So in need.
He looked at her for one last time.
Then he forced the knife through her chest a little further.

She screamed.
She went unheard.
She died unloved.
He looked away.
