Funny how someone could sell a loved one overnight
Funny if that loved one was ever truly loved at all
Funny how the betrayer is always forgiven and felt bad for
When the betrayed was always the one to fall

Funny how someone could take you for granted
Funny how you never see it coming
Funny when it happens to your face and you realize it
And yet you would never be admitting

Funny when you are being lied to
Funny how everyone lets you know
Funny when a part of you knows the truth
But would rather live a lie in fear that reality would show

Funny it is when everyone hates that person
Funny because they hate him for your sake
But funnier it is when you never for once even had a hard feeling
Because for him you'd put everything at stake

Funny how he doesn't even care
Funny how your loved one won’t spend a minute to think
Funny how you would never be on his mind
While you on the other side, always in thoughts of him sink

Funny love is when it is one sided
Funny it is when one side is cold
Funny how your love could move on so easily
While you are at the same spot, just on hold
