Not Moving On

Your insincere smile,
Lingers in my mind,
As i wait on for you,
But you I will never find.

Your glistening eyes,
I will never look into again,
As we kissed,
But that was then.

Am I ever in your mind,
Do you just pretend,
Not to care anymore,
Leaving us with no end.

As you go by me,
Letting people control you,
Telling you who to love,
And what to do.

I look into your eyes,
And can tell by how you act,
This isn't what you want,
Your friends have too much impact.

As we go on,
Without each other,
The memories come back,
One after another.

This is doing no good,
Being apart is wrong,
I don't know what we're doing,
But it is not moving on.

Someday you will realize,
What you have done,
You will come back to me,
Like all this begun.

I will be waiting here for you,
Though i don't understand why,
Your not being yourself,
I just sit here and cry.

Dreaming of your touch,
Wishing you will come back,
Fantasising over you,
Knocking my life off track.
