The girl is crying, tears streak her face
She found out something horrible she wish she could change
Cancer is a word that hurts her deep down
She doesn't now why God would have cancer around
She prays that it will all turn out okay
Hoping and dreaming that the pain'll go away
Why would disease happen to her family?
And why does it happen to her mom and "not me"?
All she can do is hope for a brighter day
