to realize who I am
and who I want to be.

to comprehend
I don’t need anyone,
I don’t need a friend,
leave me alone,
I don’t need your hand to hold,
let me be my own person
stop making me so cold.
Let me be me,
I don’t want to be you,
I am growing up
and there is nothing you can do.
I was punished when I spoke the truth,
and now I am getting older and losing my youth.
Everything that you did and will continue to do,
hell I have only 3 more years,
then I am done with you.
