Why God
Why did he leave me
I was happy for the first time
Everything was fine then suddenly
It was all over in a shatter of a heart
We hung up and the blood started to trickle along with my tears
Why God
The safety pin was so clean and pretty
But with each drag across my arm it started to turn that amazing crimson
color that only blood can make
But my heart is still bleeding more
It's breaking no wait it's already done, it's broke now
Each little tiny glistening part cries
But even though it is broke and crying
And laying on the ground for everyone to trample it still beats with the
love it has and will always have for him
But I still have to ask
Why God, why?
