A Scholar and A Spirit

A girl would rise from where the skies
Reach far as you can see.
Careless eyes, and not too wise,
A spirit flying free.

A boy would grow, and think to know
Just how the world does work.
And if you go, the boy will show
His wisdom with a smirk.

One cool night, beneath moonlight,
The boy would see the girl.
Smiling bright, a lovely sight,
Temptation did unfurl.

Time progressed, and then a test,
As they became secure.
Her spirit pressed, and wouldn't rest,
Although her heart was pure.

The boy, he knew not what to do
About her lack of will.
Oh so blue, to see it true,
She'd take a shallow thrill.

From the blast, they're falling fast,
Fighting to hold on.
Can they last, forget the past?
Or will their time be gone?
