His Betrayal

Poison words drip from your blackened maw,
Telling secrets to those who you greatly flaw.
I told myself its you I should trust,
But it seems your lies have made you rust.
You've lied to her; you've lied to me,
From hurt, I only wished to be free.
You, in fact, have brought on more
My hate for you burns deep in my core,
I had never been so greatly betrayed,
But for some reason, I wish you had stayed.
