Kiss The Air

Twelve o'clock midnight
As I lay in the night
With the darkness surrounding
Alone from the night
My eyes cast wide open
Starring deep into space
For my love felt for you
Has kept me awake
As I lie in my bed
My thoughts turn to you
Your face oh so lovely
Your actions so true
Your presence embodies
The whole of my being
And then right beside me
It's you I am seeing
Your face from the shadows
Carreses my cheek
Your touch, oh so tender
Makes my whole body weak
Your arms from the darkness
Holding me close
I feel so secure now
This night unlike most
I feel your body of nothing
So close next to mine
I imagine your heartbeat
So loving, so kind
I turn to look into
Your blue eyes of black
I give me unto you
Hold no love of mine back
I touch you so gently
To show you I care
Looking down at your lips
I Kiss the Air
