Sisterhood

You can easily tell us apart
But that doesn’t make any difference
Different parents
Yeah who cares?
All that matters is we’re here
You’re still the older sister I’ll never have
A special bond since 6th grade
One that can only grow
It grows stronger through each day
A bond called sisterhood
It’s defined as the feeling of sister for sister
I see it as
You there for me
And I’m there for you
Some call what we have a friendship
But friendships grow old and die
All I see growing old is us
Two old ladies reminiscing the days when they were young
That’s what I see for us
Through thick and thin
We’ve conquered it all
Thank you for being there
And remember I’m only a phone call away
