lying there next to me
I want to touch you
But fear has taken over me
Frozen me in this state
Of utter angst
Your skin is so welcoming
I’m praying for a reason
to move my hand
just to feel your body
to hold you in my arms
would be enough for me
you don’t know how much I need this
as I descend further into you
Wanting you only more
With the time that passes by
To feel your kiss might kill me
But its what I want
The feeling of euphoria
As we thrive off each others needs
To live without you is to give up the ghost
But to stay here is to prolong the ecstasy
Of you; of me needing you
Just take my hand
And touch it to your face
For one last look could tear down my walls
And leave me open to unknown places
You are the disease that taints me
But you help me to persevere
I only ask of you to let me
Be a touch in your memory
Let me take you someplace
Where lights turn out
Darkness turns to color
And words could be found
Taking this journey
Could leave us lost forever
In ourselves
But to be at a complete loss
For words and for notions
Can only make it increase
In its anticipation So let me touch your hair
So soft on your face
And let me hold your body
As ours do take on each other
To feel your nails in my back
The look in your eyes
When I say “I love you”
I want you for so much more
But here and now
I want you to feel me
Holding you, wanting you
I need you
And in this moment
Take all the times we’ve had
And keep them
Because I know that we can be
Something much more
Than just two introverted people
