How I feel right now,
There's no way for you to know, but
if I let you in too far,
It will be too hard to let you go.

I know this is no reason,
To walk right out of here,
But I cannot find it in me,
To stand up to the fear.

Each day it feels I'm falling,
Don't know where to or from,
But all I know is this can't work,
Until this pain is gone.

So please forgive me for doing this,
But the last thing on my mind is love,
Maybe soon in time,
I'll miss what I've walked out of.
