People may laugh at the way I walk,
maybe even at the way I talk.
I come home from school and the one good thing I have to look forward to,
the one and only person who has ever been true.
The one who is there when I need a hand.
The one that will help me take a stand.
The one and only person that will stick with me to the end.
This person of course is my best friend.
I can't explain how happy she makes me,
One of the only people that I am happy to see.
I like the thought of having a good person to talk to,
The one that will say "Your a good person too"
I will always know,
that where ever I go,
she will be there for me,
even if it's hard to sometimes see.
So when you find that special friend,
remember to always keep a hand free to lend.
