She's 98 lbs and still going strong
trying to figure out what went wrong
she looks in the mirror and thinks
"Hey its not to late"
"Just twenty more pounds to lose and I'll be the perfect
weight"
but she never reached her ideal weight
because she died before that date
people sit and wonder how could this be?
she only lived to the age of fourteen
she was loved
but in her mind tainted
her low self esteem
caused a once beautiful girl
to want to be unseen
still everyone sits and thinks
why didnt we notice she was beginning to sink
what caused her to go this far
she seemed so bright she shined like a star
if only we could have stopped this pain she was feeling
but the criticism caused got her somehow
and this is the story
of the shinest star falling down
laying somewhere deep within the ground
every night her parents say
"We love you,wherever you are"
