I linger in the shadows
Hiding in the dark
Slowly my dreams suffocate me
They've punctured a deep mark
Twisted and tangled
My life deteriorating before my eyes
The wrath of myself
Bringing forth the hidden lies
So many secrets
Sunk deep within
The tears sting my eyes
God is punishing me for this sin
It is the beginning of the end
The pain so unforgiving
Heart black as stone
Eyes fake and non-living
I gaze into the mirror
It displays a stranger I don't know
Her face so full of pain
That the past has bestow
Memories torture my mind
Death I will meet
My nightmares whisper slowly
Their goal is to defeat
All faith is gone
It's hanging on the rope
The one holding my body off the ground
Don't lose what I lack.............hope
